Saving on your gas & electric
Gas and electric is a huge chunk of our outgoings, much more than I realised until I worked it out! To say I was shocked when I saw the figues is a massive under statement.
A lot of people suggest buying solar panels, changing the windows, insulating the loft and the walls etc. If your finances are anything like ours, you simply can not afford most, if not all, of these.
I am currently sat here, wrapped in a blanket with a cuppa tea thinking of ways to save money on our electricity and gas bills. I have only come up with a few so far (I will add more as and when I think of them). I don't actually know how much any of these can save as of yet so I will lest every single one of these and eventually provide figures for you.
I am going to make an effort to do all of these things to see if it really can cut down on my bills.
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to email me at werethat@hotmail.com or fill in the contact form.
