Part Time Job Or Frugal Living
With the cost of living rising, our finances are becoming pretty tight. Our outgoings are currently more than our income and obviously this can't continue. I am constantly going through our finances every month and was struggling to see how this is happening.
If things carry on the way they are, I will be forced to get a part-time job, pay for childcare and give up home educating OR live a more frugal lifestyle.
The average Part-Time wage in the UK is £112.20 per week, £486.20 per month, £5,834.40 per year. This is how much I need to save to continue living life the way my family and I want.
I had to to go through absolutely every, takeaways, christmas, clothes, toilet roll, everything! I am completely shocked and ashamed to see just how much we spend on some things, (over £700 a year on tea & coffee!!). I have written a list of everything that can change, basically everything except rent, council tax, water & travelling. I am going to share this list with you, please no judging! I already feel bad enough as it is.
Below is a table of everything I buy where I believe I can save money. I have included weekly spend, monthly spend and yearly spend along with what I aim to save per year and what I actually save per year.
***** THE TABLE IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE TO VIEW ON MOBILE PHONES AND TABLES. I AM WORKING ON SORTING THIS ASAP *****
